Negotiations Roundup 2025
After recent agreements negotiated with the Fort Worth Symphony and Wichita Falls Symphony (and Waco Symphony earlier in the year), Local 72-147 is now looking forward to new contract negotiations in 2026. As current agreements with both the Waco and Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestras and the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra will expire at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, talks are expected to begin in spring 2026 for successor agreements.
Additionally, agreements with Dallas Theater Center and Casa Manana will also be expiring next year, which will bring about new negotiations for the theater musicians for both of these companies.
