Denton Arts & Jazz Festival Returns this October

Sixty Local 72-147 Bands perform yearly through MPTF support at the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival

In first weekend of October this fall, the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival will be back. Since 2021 upon returning after the Pandemic, the festival has become a fall event and will be taking place this year on October 6, 7 & 8.

The Denton Arts and Jazz Festival has earned a solid reputation for providing the finest in entertainment and art in the North Texas Metroplex area. Founded on the belief that all forms of art should be made available to the general public FREE OF CHARGE, the event has grown into one of the largest tourist attractions in North Texas and remains Denton’s signature event.

Showcasing local talent from across North Texas, Sixty AFM bands will perform on three of the festival’s open air stages throughout the festival and with co-sponsorship by The Recording Industry’s Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF). For years MPTF has provided sponsorship of the Denton festival.

MPTF will continue to fund this and other events, as new revenue streams to the Fund has been negotiated and increased in AFM media agreements.
