“Jack” William Henry Horton

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pat, sons, Billy Jack and John Wesley. He is survived by his son & devoted caretaker, Dickie Lee, and grandchildren, Jackie Hartman-Winders and Nikki Cousins.

Jack was born in Kirvin, TX, graduated from High school there before going into the US Navy and serving in WWII. He was a foreman at Fritz W. Glitch for over 40 years.

Jack was a funny man with a charismatic personality, that captured the attention of many from his days of being on stage with various country music artists. He started playing bass guitar at 11yrs old and continued to play for audiences well into his 60s. Of all his long years the last is the most significant. In August Jack accepted Jesus as his savior. Thank you Lord for the time you gave us with such a special character.
