Poll Workers, Phone Bank Volunteers Needed

The Tarrant County Central Labor Council has asked us to put out the word that there is still a very serious shortage of poll workers due to the pandemic. Personal protective equipment is provided, and in almost all cases the work is paid. If you or anyone you know is interested, click here for more information.

The CLC is also still looking for volunteers to help with their Get Out The Vote campaign. They are doing phone banking and texting. If you are interested, contact them directly at info@tcclc.org, or call 817-284-1461.

While Local 72-147 does not endorse any specific political candidates, we do encourage everyone to vote, and to strongly consider issues that are important to musicians. For those interested, here is a list of the candidates that the Texas AFL-CIO has endorsed.
