Orchestra Negotiations to Begin in Fort Worth, Wichita Falls
As the summer months approach, negotiations for successor agreements covering wages and working conditions for DFW musicians are beginning this month with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (FWSO) and the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra (WFSO).
The collective bargaining agreement with the FWSO is set to expire on July 31, and preparations have been underway for talks to begin in May. The Negotiating Committee consists of Debbie Brooks, Tim Daniels (Chair), Joe Dubas, Keira Fullerton and Gerry Wood.
The collective bargaining agreement with the WFSO is set to expire on May 31. Preparations are underway with proposals being developed for talks in the coming weeks. The Players’ Committee for the WFSO consists of Dwight Anderson, Nancy Cook, James Sims, Kristin Van Cleve and Susan Younghans (chair).
